Inventory Control Coordinator - UK

The Primary focus and responsibility of the Inventory Control Coordinator is maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility and the efficiency of the goods in function.

 

Essential Functions

  • Review the current daily and weekly reports to ensure corrections are made that will preserve inventory integrity 
  • Research material issues in both quantity and cost while correcting values and formulating corrective actions after determining root causes
  • Ensures that employees are utilizing materials properly and effectively
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all departments of the organization
  • Receiving and inspection off all incoming goods
  • Book in all deliveries onto Cloudsuite
  • Pick and stage materials ready for production
  • Complete regular stock takes and track scrap materials
  • Promote and adhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices including the SECRIT values
  • Maintain KPI’s to include stock accuracy, FIFO, (first in first out) agreed stock levels, faulty/non-conforming materials, picking accuracy.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to run reports, effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Ability to learn Dispatch, Cloudsuite and other systems
  • Ability to use MS Outlook, Word and Excel proficiently
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and Travelers
  • Working knowledge of quality control systems and inventory flow / control
  • Detail- oriented and able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, numerical, math and statistical skills

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma.  College Degree is desirable, but not required.
  • 2-3 years of warehouse or inventory experience required.
  • 2 years of ERP System experience required, Infor Syteline/Cloudsuite preferred 
  • Forklift license desirable (training given)

 

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection are required.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25KG
